Growing up in Burkina Faso, I witnessed firsthand the challenges facing African communities — from smallholder farmers struggling with unpredictable weather patterns to mining operations lacking the technology to work safely and efficiently.
These experiences shaped my mission: to build AI systems that solve real problems for real people in Africa.
The Opportunity
Africa is not just a continent with problems to solve — it's a continent with massive untapped potential. With a young, growing population and increasing mobile connectivity, we're uniquely positioned to leapfrog traditional technology adoption.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Instead of waiting for solutions to be built elsewhere and adapted for Africa, I'm building solutions from Africa, for Africa.
My Focus Areas
Building intelligent systems that help farmers make better decisions about planting, irrigation, and pest management using satellite imagery and local knowledge.
My PhD research focuses on digitalizing African mining operations — making them safer, more efficient, and more sustainable through AI and geospatial analysis.
The Approach
I believe in building AI that is:

What's Next
I'm currently building an Agentic AI Chatbot for African Agriculture — a multi-agent system using RAG, QLoRA fine-tuning, and CrewAI to provide context-aware agronomic advice to farmers in their local languages.
This is just the beginning. I believe that by combining cutting-edge AI research with deep understanding of African contexts, we can build technology that truly transforms lives.
